As businesses have started to adapt online since the spread of COVID-19, there has been a greater number of cyberattacks. Many small businesses may experience at least one cyberattack due to their lack of security. Be prepared by having a risk assessment test conducted to indicate your vulnerabilities. You should create a plan to protect your website and other sensitive data. We want to take a moment to talk about our risk assessment program.
With our program, we’ll do the following:
- Run through a few steps to find possible threats.
- Assess the damage they could hold.
- Use this to further develop a plan to protect your business.
We have certified security professionals who’ll be able to assess your website for cyberattacks. After assessing and remediating, they’ll try to breach the website to determine if there are any other weak spots found. After that’s done, we’ll set up a remote monitoring solution to scan for cybersecurity threats and report them before they become a bigger problem.
If you ever consider working with another business or partner, we recommend a cybersecurity assessment before making the final decision. The next process is called the eKYC/eKYB (Know Your Client/Know Your Business) service. Our eKYC/eKYB service will essentially verify who the business or partner you want to work with is, if they’re right to work with you, and any risks that may be involved if you work with them. At the end of the day, you’ll be the one ultimately making the decision, but we have steps in place to protect your business for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has given online criminals more leverage to attack more individuals during these unprecedented times. If you have any more questions, give us a call!
