According to Punxsutawney Phil, we’re having an early Spring and the weather has been holding up for that to be the case this season! Although, before you decide to start planning activities with friends or family, check your insurance to find out if you’re insured.
There are a few insurance policies you should review before spring officially arrives on March 19th.
Classic Car Insurance:
We all know someone who has an older vehicle locked up for only the “best days around” during the year. If that someone is you, then you need classic car insurance. One of the benefits is that you can work out a price with your insurance company based on how valuable the car is; and if there is a major accident and it can’t be easily fixed, you’re paid in full!
Motorcycle Insurance:
Unfortunately, auto insurance doesn’t cover our motorcycles, that’s why there is motorcycle insurance. It essentially is auto insurance equivalent for a motorcycle and covers damages, medical expenses in case of injuries, and more.
Recreational Item Insurance:
If you have the old boat settled in the shed or your ATV’s locked up in the garage, it’s time to break them out. Recreational item insurance covers smaller vehicles not used for everyday driving, but can also cover your bigger vehicles that you bring out for the long road trips or for outdoor camping.
Remember to review your other policies beforehand also, such as life, health, and homeowner’s insurance. It may be nice and warm out, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be prepared for an emergency. If you have any questions about these policies or need help, be sure to contact us!
