Preparing for an Unexpected Weather Change

by Iris Pantoja

It’s beginning to look like Christmas! As I drive around the neighborhoods I can see the beautiful lights and decorations, children with smiles on their faces and the hustle and bustle of the holidays. But wait!!! The most noticeable thing this time of year is what? That’s right, the lack of snow. Here at, Rothenberger Insurance, we want you and yours to have a happy and safe holiday season, and for that reason we are recommending you to make your list and check it twice. Even though we haven’t had snow, we might still get a white Christmas and you don’t want to get caught unprepared. Have a bag of salt and a good shovel handy. Leave your walkways, sidewalks and stairs clean and clear of any leaves. Because of this great weather, if you still haven’t done so already, make sure you check your roof and fix any leaks. Cover your water pipes to help prevent them from freezing in case we do get a weather surprise change. Also for your vehicle or bike, check the tires including your spare. And last but not least, give us a call or stop in if you want us to review your policy so that you may start the new year right.

We hope these tips help you be better prepared for the unexpected and give you peace of mind so that you can focus on what’s important this special time of the year.

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Rothenberger Insurance and thank you for another great year!
