While it may be nice to have cooler outdoor temperatures, it’s still nice to come home to a warm house. Heat loss can cost you over time, so it’s important to double-check that the windows are sealed properly. If not, it may be time to invest in weather stripping. - Pack up outdoor furniture
The days of sitting by the pool have come and gone, which means it’s time to put away any patio or outdoor furniture. If you want to get the most out of it, don’t let it set out once the frost begins. Store it in the garage or shed so it’s in tiptop shape for next summer. - Give the old snow blower a test run
But wait, isn’t it still kind of warm outside? Yes, even though it’s likely you won’t be needing it for a while, it’s still a good idea to double-check that your winter equipment is still working. The last thing you need is to be stuck at home because you can’t plow your driveway.
